Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 24684 p4p, 24623 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 26 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 25 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Mibangon shoots for a takedown but Sapi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sapi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mibangon.
Sapi feints the counter takedown.
Sapi fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sapi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mibangon defends it nicely.
Mibangon quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mibangon drives through with a takedown into Sapi's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Sapi has control of Mibangon's left arm, preventing Mibangon from doing any damage.

Mibangon is fighting to break Sapi's control of his arms but Sapi is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Sapi wants to sweep but no luck.
Sapi controls Mibangon momentarily but Mibangon frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sapi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mibangon manages to get himself to full guard.

Sapi not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Mibangon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Sapi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mibangon content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Sapi wants to control but Mibangon is keeping busy.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Sapi is controlling Mibangon's position as best he can from this difficult position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Mibangon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sapi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Sapi thinks about the counter body kick.
Sapi darts in looking for a takedown but Mibangon gets double underhooks and turns Sapi into the cage.
Mibangon jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Sapi shoots in but no luck this time.

Horrible takedown attempt by Mibangon or perhaps it was just good defense by Sapi, which made it look bad.

Sapi replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Mibangon blocks it well.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sapi dives in and grabs Mibangon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mibangon pushes down on Sapi's head and hops out.
Mibangon darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Sapi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mibangon is working away from the top position though.

Sapi controlling the position well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sapi wants to get back to full guard.
Sapi wants to control but Mibangon is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Sapi keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Nice takedown defense from Mibangon. No joy for Sapi on that attempt.

Mibangon slaps away a takedown attempt from Sapi, before circling back to the center of the mat.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Mibangon fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sapi to the ground. Mibangon is now in Sapi's guard.
Mibangon slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Sapi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mibangon as he avoids it easily.
Sapi manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mibangon on his heels. He'll look to pass Mibangon's guard now, I'm sure.

Sapi wants to control from the top but Mibangon keeps moving.
Mibangon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sapi controls the pace.

Sapi seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Minatay Mibangon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Mibangon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well Mibangon has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
