Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 24319 p4p, 24667 weight class) and Way Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 28 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Nada drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Libat tries to strike from the bottom.
Nada is looking to work some ground and pound but Libat has wrist control. Nada being controlled here momentarily. Libat looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nada is one step ahead there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat is pulling down on Nada's head to control his posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nada preventing the sweep. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Libat holds on and takes a little breather.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Libat looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Libat leaves Nada with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Nada lands a nice looking kick to the body. Libat takes a step back to recover. Nada tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Libat defends well and Nada ends up having to push Libat into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Libat throws a big counter combination but Nada scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Libat shoots in looking for a takedown. Nada tries to sprawl out of it but Libat keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nada manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nada follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nada changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Libat tries to avoid it but Nada manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Libat to the ground. Libat escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Libat thinks about countering with a head kick. Higanti Libat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Way Nada. Nada closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Nada performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Let's hope that Nada has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Way Nada dominated that round. That's time! Libat's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Libat defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nada. It appears Libat was looking to counter with a kick there. Libat looking to score a takedown here. Nada is defending well but Libat drives through and ends up in Nada's guard. Libat is stalling in the full guard. Libat seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nada for as long as he can get away with. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nada not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nada has his hands on Libat's head, controlling the position. Libat is stalling in the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nada is trying to keep Libat in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Nada looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Libat with a lazy takedown attempt and Nada makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Nada shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Libat sprawls well. Libat wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nada gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nada looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Libat! Libat is holding Nada down, trying to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Libat wants to control but Nada postures up. This fight is sponsored by Chainsaw 7. More blood and guts and stuff like that, in cinemas everywhere now! Nada is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Libat will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Way Nada will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Nada pushes Libat up against the cage in a clinch. Libat gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Libat sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Nada defending well though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nada is looking to control Libat's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nada avoid being mounted? The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nada is controlling Libat's position as best he can from this difficult position. Libat controlling the pace. Nada keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Nada tries to get to full guard but Libat has control of the leg.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Libat defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nada. Libat thinks about countering with a body kick. Nada manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Libat on his heels. He'll look to pass Libat's guard now, I'm sure. Libat is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Nada stopping the sweep attempt from Libat. Nada controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Libat wants to control the position but Nada says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Libat is trying to get back to full guard. Libat controlling the position well. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Libat is trying to control but can't.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Nada shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Libat thinks about countering with a body kick. Higanti Libat has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Way Nada is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Libat shoots for a double leg takedown but Nada sprawls well. He's pushed Libat's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nada follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Libat goes for a double leg but Nada avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nada continues to drive forward. A countering left hand to the body from Nada misses.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Way Nada. I've got Nada winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
