The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanbord tries to keep at a distance but Lahey has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lahey lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Sanbord or not.

Lahey lands a body shot in the clinch.
Nice body punch from Lahey - that landed with a thud.

Sanbord has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lahey after a bit of a struggle.
Sanbord is trying to break the clinch but Lahey has him pressed against the cage.

Sanbord tries to score a body lock takedown but Lahey shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Sanbord is rocked!

Sanbord is still on wobbly legs! Can Lahey finish him?

Sanbord wants to break free but Lahey has control.
Lahey misses with a hook from the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lahey dips a shoulder and cracks Sanbord with a mighty uppercut! Sanbord falls back against the cage and Lahey unloads with a barrage of strikes! Sanbord is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Lahey screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randy Lahey!
