The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Griffin.

Griffin has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by McBacon after a bit of a struggle.

McBacon is trying to push Griffin away but Griffin has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McBacon tries to break free but Griffin pushes him back against the cage.
Griffin tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Griffin breaks from the clinch.
Griffin takes one to the chin there.
Griffin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Griffin there as he acknowledges the shot.
BOOM! McBacon lands a beautiful left hook that drops Griffin. Griffin tries to recover but McBacon is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Griffin lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Briggs McBacon!
