Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brayden Greene!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lorenzo Maddox!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene lands with a cross.
Greene scores with a hook.
Maddox has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Greene lands with a right hand.
Maddox shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Greene pinned against the cage. Greene gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Maddox shoots in and drives through. Greene sprawls well.
Greene throws a looping overhand right but Maddox ducks down to avoid it.
Maddox shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Greene as he jumps to the side.
Brayden Greene has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lorenzo Maddox.

Maddox closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Greene's guard.
Greene might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Greene is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Maddox thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Maddox drops back looking for a leg! Greene is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Greene manages to kick Maddox off! Maddox jumps back into Greene's guard.

Greene is trying to control the position but Maddox postures up.
Greene knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Maddox on the ground.

Maddox drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Maddox jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Greene isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Maddox stacks Greene on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Maddox!
Greene could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Maddox is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Greene looks calm but he's in trouble here. Maddox gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Greene is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Maddox lets go of the hold and Greene can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Lorenzo Maddox!
