Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Karl Mathers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colin robin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mathers comes into the arena with Buck cherry blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Karl Mathers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Colin robin! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! robin has closed the distance and engaged Mathers in a clinch.
robin drags the fight down to the ground.
Mathers trying to control the position from guard on top but robin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mathers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. robin swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mathers stands up over robin, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Mathers postures up in robin's guard and throws a big left but robin blocks it. Mathers wants to pass the guard but robin is keeping the position. robin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Mathers stands up from robin's guard - Mathers perhaps looking for a knockout. Mathers misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's one minute gone in the round. robin wants to clinch. Mathers shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mathers showed some decent athleticism there. Mathers seems to be working for a kimura but robin defends the submission attempt. Mathers is breathing heavily. Mathers prevents robin from standing back up.

Mathers wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by robin, who protects the arm well. Mathers advances to mount.

Mathers goes for an armbar but he's not got it… robin turns into him and now he's in Mathers's guard.
Mathers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. robin wanted to stand there but Mathers had control of the position. Mathers wants to sweep here but robin controlling him for the moment. Mathers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. robin trying to control the position from guard on top but Mathers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mathers being controlled here, momentarily. robin wants to control from the top but Mathers keeps moving. robin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mathers looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mathers looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mathers! Mathers is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but robin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Mathers tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Karl Mathers dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Mathers tries for a takedown but robin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Karl Mathers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mathers closes this distance looking for a takedown but robin circles away. robin has managed to clinch.
robin scores with an uppercut up the middle. robin tightens his grip and picks Mathers up, before dumping him to the ground. Mathers manages to land in guard. robin is in close to Mathers's body, working some short punches and elbows. robin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. robin trying to control but Mathers is working from the bottom. robin stands up from guard. Let's bang! robin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. robin misses with a head shot. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mathers tries to hold on but robin postures up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. robin misses with a head shot.

robin wants to finish this one by submission but Mathers is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from robin. Mathers is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. robin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mathers is looking to escape. Mathers is trying desperately to improve position. robin wants to control the pace but Mathers is squirming around nicely. Mathers is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mathers is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Mathers drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mathers jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. robin keeping moving, preventing Mathers from controlling successfully. Mathers has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of robin is proving hard to escape from.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mathers misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karl Mathers. That's going to take a lot out of him. robin is looking to take this fight into the clinch. robin shoots in but Mathers avoids the takedown attempt easily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mathers changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. robin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Mathers working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Colin robin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Mathers's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

A telegraphed right hand from robin misses the target. Mathers shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in robin's guard. Mathers slips nicely into half guard. Mathers working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on robin's thigh. robin counters though and makes it back to full guard. robin keeping full guard, as Mathers tries to pass. robin wants to stand and escape but Mathers is having none of it. Mathers passes easily into side control. Nice work. Both fighters are breathing heavily. robin tries to strike but it doesn't land.

Mathers moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. robin is looking for a sweep. robin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mathers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mathers advances to mount.

Mathers jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but robin manages to avoid the submission attempt. You can see the frustration on robin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. robin tries to get back to half guard but can't. Mathers stands up. Mathers misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
