Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alex Gray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Knuckles!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knuckles lands a big right hand that sends Gray crashing to the mat! Knuckles stays standing though and waves Gray back to his feet!
It looks like Alex Gray has been cut.
Gray throws a body shot but no joy.
Gray scores with a jab to the body.
Knuckles throws a lazy uppercut
and Gray counters with a straight right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gray throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Knuckles throws a jab but it's blocked by Gray.
Knuckles lands a big right hand that sends Gray crashing to the mat! Knuckles stays standing though and waves Gray back to his feet!
Gray is rocked!
Gray throws an overhand right that lands on Knuckles's shoulder, as Knuckles tries to avoid the shot.
Oh Gray is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gray moves away from the strike by Knuckles.
Gray swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Knuckles is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Knuckles walks into a jab.
Knuckles throws out a loose jab but Gray uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gray bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Knuckles comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Gray falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Gray was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Johnny Knuckles!
