The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Rahul.
Rahul throws a leg kick but Azzadiu moved away.
Rahul misses with a wild combination.
Rahul blocks a head kick by Azzadiu.
Kobina Rahul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Azzadiu gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rahul to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Rahul must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Azzadiu is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Rahul has his hands clasped together but Azzadiu extends and breaks Rahul's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Azzadiu.
