The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Dracarys.
Honeysuckle does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Honeysuckle lands a leg kick that knocks Dracarys off balance momentarily.
Dracarys throws a hook but Honeysuckle blocks it.
Honeysuckle misses with a body kick.
Dracarys changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Honeysuckle closes the distance and pushes Dracarys back into the cage.
Honeysuckle gets underhooks to prevent Dracarys's takedown attempt.
Honeysuckle digs a right hand underneath Dracarys's ribcage. Dracarys let out a lung full of air as it connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dracarys drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dracarys wants to take the fight to the mat but Honeysuckle manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Methuselah Honeysuckle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aerymar Dracarys.

Honeysuckle comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Honeysuckle is looking to clinch but Dracarys is avoiding it.

Aerymar Dracarys's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Aerymar Dracarys's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
