Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Borowa Gora!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jørgen Thrane!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thrane scores with a one two! Gora had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Thrane takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Gora connects with a good right hand that stumbles Thrane. Thrane circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Jørgen Thrane has been cut.
Gora throws a right hand that Thrane ducks under and follows up with a left that Thrane also avoids with ease.
Thrane takes a swing at Gora's ribcage but misses.
Thrane lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gora circles away quickly and effectively.
Thrane takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Thrane lands with a kick to the ribs.
Thrane connects with a leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thrane lands a jab to the head.

Thrane throws a body kick that misses
and Gora counters with a crisp right hand that drops Thrane! Gora lets Thrane back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Thrane is rocked!
Gora takes a swing at Thrane's ribcage but misses.
Thrane is still on wobbly legs! Can Gora finish him?
Gora looks to land a right hand but Thrane moved out of range.
Thrane seems to have recovered his senses.
Gora misses the jab.
A head kick misses from Thrane.
Gora misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Thrane misses with an attempted mid kick.
Gora throws a right hand that misses
and Thrane counters with an inside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gora avoids the head kick by Thrane.
Thrane throws a nice outside leg kick.
Thrane lands a right hook to the body.
Thrane on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Gora misses with an uppercut
and Thrane cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gora on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Thrane. Thrane obviously looking to wear him down.
Gora chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Thrane can pounce on him.
Gora throws a shot from downtown. Thrane moves away and avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gora walks into a jab.
Thrane wants to slow Gora down by chopping away at his legs.
Gora checks a low kick from Thrane.
Gora throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Thrane crashing down! Thrane tries to stagger back to his feet but Gora just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Thrane asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Borowa Gora!
Borowa Gora retains his light heavyweight title!
After winning the bout, Borowa Gora thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
