Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tsuki Yao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sigve Dahlberg!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dahlberg darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Yao tries to kick Dahlberg off in order to stand up. Dahlberg Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Yao is trying to escape the position but Dahlberg is controlling the position.
It looks like Dahlberg might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Dahlberg has an Americana. Yao didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Dahlberg is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Dahlberg hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Sigve Dahlberg!
