Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, BJ Penn!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giovanni throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Penn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Giovanni's waist but Giovanni gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Penn off to one side.
Giovanni swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Penn has closed the distance and engaged Giovanni in a clinch.
Penn has picked Giovanni up - he's going for a ride! Penn dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Penn frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Giovanni is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Penn can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Giovanni is looking to escape.
Penn jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Giovanni is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Giovanni and Penn has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's one minute gone in the round.
An elbow from Penn crashes against the mat.
Penn throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Penn has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Penn postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Penn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Giovanni keeps working.
Giovanni wants to get back to his feet but Penn drags him back down.
Penn is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Giovanni looks calm but he's in trouble here. Penn gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Giovanni is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Penn lets go of the hold and Giovanni can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). BJ Penn!
