This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 12 wins and 40 losses; Arm Breaker! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 29 wins and 42 losses; Pavel Savkov!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Breaker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Savkov but Savkov pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Savkov tries to counter with a clinch but Breaker shakes him off and moves away.

Breaker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Savkov has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Rivers Edge Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Breaker is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Savkov defends it well.
