Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stella Fella (ranked 3302 p4p, 2780 weight class) and Dwalin Broadaxe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stella Fella!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dwalin Broadaxe!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Ron Honeybunn.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Broadaxe shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fella manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Fella has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Broadaxe has passed into side control.
Fella is looking for a sweep.
Fella is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Broadaxe's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Broadaxe connects with a nice short shot to Fella's temple.
Fella has hold of Broadaxe's hands but Broadaxe slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Broadaxe is trying to control the action in half guard but Fella is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Well, if Broadaxe is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fella will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Broadaxe shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fella sprawls well. Fella wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Broadaxe gets slowly back to his feet.

Broadaxe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fella's waist but Fella gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Broadaxe off to one side.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Broadaxe.

Broadaxe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Dwalin Broadaxe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Broadaxe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fella paws at him with a jab and circles away.

It looked like Fella was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Broadaxe tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fella sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Broadaxe somewhat.
Fella was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Fella just misses with a punch to the body.
Broadaxe is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Dwalin Broadaxe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fella is trying to control Broadaxe's posture. Broadaxe takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Fella! Broadaxe is rotating here... this could be the end... Fella is out! Broadaxe has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
