Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Boyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Ken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Don Ken is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dave Boyle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Don Ken! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donk. Boyle catches Ken right on the button with a cross. A slow jab from Boyle misses its intended target. Ken misses with an uppercut. Boyle misses with a straight right. Boyle slaps away a takedown attempt from Ken, before circling back to the center of the mat. No joy there for Ken, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Don Ken seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A solid leg kick lands there for Ken.
Ken closes the distance and clinches up with Boyle, looking for a takedown. Ken pushes Boyle against the cage but Boyle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Ken looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Boyle throws a hook to the side of Ken's head but Ken sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ken swinging wilding here.
Ken shoots in for a takedown but Boyle shows good takedown defense. Dave Boyle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Don Ken. Boyle lands a two punch combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Boyle digs a good body shot into Ken's ribs. Boyle thuds his right hand into Ken's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Ken looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Boyle is fending him off so far but Ken persists. Nope, Boyle circles away and we're back to standing. Ken throws a combination that misses letting Boyle counter with a right hand. Ken looks gassed! Ken fails with the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ken takes one to the chin there. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ken is defended easily by Boyle. BOOM! Boyle lands a beautiful left hook that drops Ken. Ken tries to recover but Boyle is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Ken lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dave Boyle!
