Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bastian Mikkola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edzard Ling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ling is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Gemüseeintopf. On his way into the cage it seems that Bastian Mikkola has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bastian Mikkola seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikkola closes the distance and clinches up with Ling, looking for a takedown. Mikkola pushes Ling against the cage but Ling circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Edzard Ling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mikkola moves away from the strike by Ling.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Mikkola fails to land the takedown.
A punch combination from Ling misses.
Mikkola fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bastian Mikkola. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ling misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ling keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ling rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mikkola moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ling fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mikkola is out of range.
Ling connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Mikkola tumbling to the canvas! Ling pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Mikkola was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Edzard Ling!
