The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Keeffe fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from O Keeffe is defended easily by Quintillus.
Cleostrata Quintillus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Owen O Keeffe.

Quintillus feints and as O Keeffe raises his hands in defense, Quintillus changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Quintillus has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Quintillus's corner is telling him to maintain position.

O Keeffe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Quintillus can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Quintillus wants to control from the top but O Keeffe keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

O Keeffe working for submissions but it's allowed Quintillus to get to half guard.

O Keeffe is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Quintillus pulls his head out easily.
Quintillus is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Quintillus takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
O Keeffe is staying active underneath Quintillus, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
O Keeffe wants to control but Quintillus is keeping busy and won't allow it.
O Keeffe is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
O Keeffe is still trying to improve position.

Quintillus is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Quintillus looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

O Keeffe is rocked!
Quintillus lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt O Keeffe quite badly. O Keeffe pulls Quintillus in close trying to recover. Quintillus postures up and lands two really hard shots that put O Keeffe on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but O Keeffe doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
