Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Don Juan (ranked 4638 p4p, 5589 weight class) and Ray Apollo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Apollo has chosen Circus - Britney Spears as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ray Apollo!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Apollo takes one on the button.
It looks like Ray Apollo has been cut.
Nice body punch from Juan.
Juan forces Apollo back against the cage and clinches.
Juan looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Juan wants to break free but Apollo has control.
Juan breaks the clinch.
Apollo dodges the punch combination from Juan.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Juan misses with a wild body shot.

and Apollo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Juan won't be happy with that.
Apollo works to advance to full mount. Juan defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Apollo working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Juan turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Apollo off and cradles Juan's limp body as Apollo celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Ray Apollo!
