Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Delaware (ranked 4651 p4p, 4810 weight class) and Colby Cake (ranked 546 p4p, 552 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Delaware gets a takedown into half guard.
Cake is trying is best to control the position here.
Delaware throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Cake manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Delaware keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Delaware has hold of one of Cake's legs. Cake is fighting the takedown attempt but Delaware gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Cake wriggles free and stands up.
Cake looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Delaware throws a strike but Cake rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Delaware wants to stand and escape but Cake is having none of it.

Cake is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Delaware looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cake decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Delaware is trying to escape back to his feet but Cake uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Delaware knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cake on the ground.

Cake decides to stand up, so the ref orders Delaware to his feet.

Delaware shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Delaware showed some decent athleticism there.

Cake manages to escape and get back to his feet!
