Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Harry Swotter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Devin Brusellsprouts! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swotter blocks a head kick by Brusellsprouts.
Brusellsprouts goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Swotter thinks about countering with a body kick. A nice inside leg kick there by Swotter. That's going to slow Brusellsprouts down. Brusellsprouts connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Swotter to the floor! Brusellsprouts dives in looking for the finish! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brusellsprouts is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Brusellsprouts thows a huge punch but Swotter dodges it nicely.
Brusellsprouts looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Swotter with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Brusellsprouts lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Brusellsprouts prevents Swotter from standing back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brusellsprouts is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Brusellsprouts seems to be working for a kimura but Swotter defends the submission attempt. Brusellsprouts missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Swotter is staying active underneath Brusellsprouts, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Brusellsprouts is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Swotter has managed to free his arm - good work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Brusellsprouts tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Swotter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Harry Swotter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Brusellsprouts takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Brusellsprouts throws a wild body kick that Swotter sees coming a mile off. Brusellsprouts tries to score a power double leg takedown but Swotter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brusellsprouts somewhat. Swotter looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Brusellsprouts closes the distance and clinches. Brusellsprouts breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brusellsprouts attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Swotter misses with an attempted mid kick.
Brusellsprouts is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. A low kick lands for Brusellsprouts.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Devin Brusellsprouts dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Brusellsprouts throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Brusellsprouts closes the distance and pushes Swotter back into the cage. Swotter is looking to break free of the clinch but Brusellsprouts has double underhooks. Brusellsprouts keeps control of Swotter as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Swotter wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Brusellsprouts breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Swotter stuffs the takedown. It looked like Swotter wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Brusellsprouts is looking to clinch but Swotter is avoiding it.

Brusellsprouts scores with a push kick. Brusellsprouts has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. That kick from Swotter tenderised Brusellsprouts's leg. Brusellsprouts is trying to keep his angry face on. Swotter lands with a straight right. Brusellsprouts didn't see that one coming. Brusellsprouts chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Brusellsprouts shoots and misses and Swotter counters with a nice leg kick. Brusellsprouts staying out of range there. Brusellsprouts swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
It looked like Swotter wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Swotter tries to keep at a distance but Brusellsprouts has taken the fight into the clinch. Brusellsprouts breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Swotter. Some wild striking there from Swotter.
Swotter throws a chopping leg kick but Brusellsprouts manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Brusellsprouts wants to counter the offense by Swotter and move into the clinch position. Good leg kick by Swotter. Brusellsprouts lands a left and a right that sends Swotter crashing to the canvas! Brusellsprouts dives into mount looking to finish!
Swotter is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brusellsprouts swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
