O Donnelly throws a poor cross that misses

and Badou counters with a nice double leg into side control. O Donnelly won't be happy with that.
Badou misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Badou lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear O Donnelly down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
O Donnelly parries the strikes from Badou easily there. Badou is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable O Donnelly to escape.
