Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Richard James (ranked 4381 p4p, 4548 weight class) and Juan Nutella (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Richard James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Juan Nutella! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Nutella. James thows a left - swing and a miss! James darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. James trying to control the pace. James throwing shots but Nutella is blocking nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Nutella regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nutella can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as James controls the pace. Nutella utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Nutella being controlled here, momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nutella for as long as he can get away with.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. James punishes Nutella's body with a nice straight punch. Nutella tries to land a body kick and James counters with a single leg into guard. Nutella didn't expect that. James throws a big elbow that misses. James looking to pass the guard. That's three minutes gone in the round. Nutella is trying to control the position but James postures up. James wants to pass the guard but Nutella is keeping the position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. James postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. James throws an elbow that misses. Nutella uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in James's guard. Nice move by Nutella!

Nutella doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nutella manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Nutella trying to control but James is working from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! James has his foot on Nutella's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nutella works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Richard James dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Nutella drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Juan Nutella has been cut. James is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nutella can do to turn this around? Nutella is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by James. Nutella gets caught napping as James dives in and scores a takedown. Nutella manages to retain guard. James looking to pass the guard. James tries to hold on but Nutella postures up. Richard James overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. James is trying to escape the mount.

James manages to reverse the position and now he's in Nutella's guard. Nice work there by James.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with James in particular looking to stall. James sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Nutella defending well though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. James trying to control the pace. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Richard James will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Juan Nutella's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
James changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nutella looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Juan Nutella has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! James is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! That's two minutes gone in the round. James controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nutella takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Nutella is rocked! James cracks Nutella with an elbow. That is naaassty. Nutella is still in real trouble! Can James finish him? James in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Nutella looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! James turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
