Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniyar Nurbolatov (ranked 6216 p4p, 4402 weight class) and Sauv Ignon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Daniyar Nurbolatov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sauv Ignon! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ignon tries to close the distance and clinch but Nurbolatov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A momentary lapse in concentration from Nurbolatov enables Ignon to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nurbolatov manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Nurbolatov has an active guard here but Ignon has managed to pass into half guard.
Ignon is figuring out what he wants to do next. Nurbolatov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ignon pulls his head out easily. My spies in Cope's inform me that Ignon has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nurbolatov wants to control but Ignon is keeping busy and won't allow it. That was a close round but I would say that Daniyar Nurbolatov will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Ignon keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Ignon tries to get to full guard but Nurbolatov has control of the leg. Nurbolatov seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Ignon has recovered full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nurbolatov wants to control from the top but Ignon keeps moving. Ignon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nurbolatov's guard. Ignon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nurbolatov working for a triangle but Ignon defends it easily.
Ignon not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Sauv Ignon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nurbolatov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ignon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Ignon controlling from the top position. Ignon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Nurbolatov's head.

Daniyar Nurbolatov is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ignon looking to improve position, pressing down on Nurbolatov's thigh with his hand. Nurbolatov seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Ignon paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Ignon's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Nurbolatov picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
