Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ding Ding Dong (ranked 6524 p4p, 3023 weight class) and Jose Ortega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ding Ding Dong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jose Ortega! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ortega looks for a takedown but Ding Dong sprawls well. Ding Dong shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ortega's guard. Ding Dong trying to control but Ortega is working from the bottom. Ding Dong is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Ortega wants to stand up but Ding Dong is controlling him. Ortega is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ortega keeping moving, preventing Ding Dong from controlling successfully. Ding Dong trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ding Dong trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Ortega utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ding Dong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ortega swivels though and keeps the full guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ding Dong works a leg free and moves into half guard. Ortega moves into full guard.
Ortega pulls Ding Dong in close to prevent any damage. Ortega can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ding Dong controls the pace. Ortega keeping moving, preventing Ding Dong from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ding Dong chips away with some ground and pound. Ding Dong postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Ding Dong throwing strikes but missing. Ding Dong has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ortega looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ding Dong slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Ortega defending against the ground and pound. Ding Dong scores with punches from side control. Ortega is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Ding Dong not doing much here.
Ding Dong is looking for a kimura but Ortega is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ding Dong to get the leverage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ding Dong is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ortega defends it well. Ding Dong working over Ortega with some ground and pound. Ortega looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Ding Dong passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ortega! Ortega is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Ding Dong jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Ortega is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Ortega and Ding Dong has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The strikes coming from Ding Dong are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ding Dong stands up. Ding Dong shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ortega flicks out a counter leg kick but Ding Dong steps away. Ortega shoots in looking for a takedown. Ding Dong tries to sprawl out of it but Ortega keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ding Dong manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ding Dong looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Ortega looks winded! Ortega fails with the takedown and Ding Dong counters by moving into the clinch. Ding Ding Dong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Ortega. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ortega misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Ding Dong.

Ding Ding Dong dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ortega thows a leg kick but Ding Dong checks it and Ding Dong counters by clinching up. Ding Dong successfully pulls guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Ortega shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ding Dong sprawls well. Ding Dong wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ortega gets slowly back to his feet. Ding Dong appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Ding Ding Dong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ding Dong closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ortega's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ding Dong trying to control the position from guard on top but Ortega is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ding Dong stands and throws Ortega's legs to the side, diving into side control. Ding Dong looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Ding Dong is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ortega knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Ortega wants to control but Ding Dong postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ding Dong tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Ding Dong wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ortega, who protects the arm well. Ortega is looking to regain half guard here but Ding Dong keeps moving and retains side control. Ding Dong looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Ding Dong is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ortega is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ding Dong looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Ding Dong cracks Ortega with an elbow. That is naaassty. Ding Dong thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ortega is looking for a sweep. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ding Ding Dong dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Ortega tries to clinch up. Ding Dong is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ortega. Ding Dong throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ortega was covering up waiting for the punch and Ding Dong finishes the takedown easily into guard. Ding Dong is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Ding Dong trying to control the position from guard on top but Ortega is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ding Dong is working Ortega over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Ding Dong is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ding Dong slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Ding Dong is working to tighten his grip on Ortega's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Ortega has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Ding Dong is really squeezing tight and eventually Ortega passes out! Ding Dong breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Ding Ding Dong! Ding Ding Dong tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
