Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stu Pendous (ranked 4232 p4p, 6237 weight class) and Vtnom Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 380 weight class). Snake has chosen wae as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stu Pendous! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vtnom Snake! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snake is looking to clinch. Pendous throws a body shot but no joy. Snake closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Snake lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Snake stands up. Vtnom Snake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Snake fails to land with a series of punches.
Pendous swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Snake fails in his attempt to clinch. Pendous fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Snake manages to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snake misses with a takedown attempt and Pendous counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Pendous ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Snake moves away. Snake steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Pendous. Snake fails with a takedown attempt. Pendous is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Pendous. No joy for Snake on that attempt. Stu Pendous has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vtnom Snake. Snake shoots and misses and Pendous counters with a nice uppercut. Snake closes the distance and clinches up with Pendous, looking for a takedown. Snake pushes Pendous against the cage but Pendous circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Pendous with a body punch. A glancing blow. Pendous throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Snake lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pendous circles away quickly and effectively. Snake with a poor takedown and Pendous counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Snake thinking. Snake looks winded! Pendous lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snake closes the distance but Pendous moves to the side and Pendous connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Snake shoots and misses and Pendous counters with a stiff right hand. Snake avoids the body shot from Pendous.
Pendous misses with a wild body shot. Snake lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Stu Pendous is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pendous takes a swing at Snake's ribcage but misses. Snake misses with a two punch combination.
It looked like Pendous was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Snake. Snake shoots in looking for a takedown but Pendous manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Snake's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Pendous smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Pendous is looking to wear down Snake with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pendous shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Pendous connects with a body shot. Pendous lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Pendous connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Snake momentarily.
Pendous scores with a jab. Snake moves to clinch but Pendous breaks away and Pendous counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Pendous looks to score with a jab to the body but Snake is just out of range. Pendous lands with an uppercut that bounces Snake off the cage and back into range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A left lands for Pendous. Pendous definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Pendous throws a body punch but Snake moves out of range. Pendous lands a nice shot that snaps Snake's head back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pendous ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Snake moves away. A shot to the body from Pendous misses and Snake counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Snake's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pendous connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Snake scrambles back to his feet. Pendous fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Snake looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Pendous tests Snake's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Snake is rocked! Pendous misses with a kick to the body.
Snake is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Stu Pendous dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Snake misses with a takedown attempt and Pendous makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Pendous throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Snake stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Snake takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Snake shoots in for a takedown but Pendous shows good takedown defense. An attempted straight right counter from Pendous misses the target. Snake drives through with a takedown into Pendous's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Snake trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Pendous wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snake stops Pendous from standing up. Snake is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pendous kicks Snake off and gets to his feet. Pendous is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Snake can do to turn this around? Pendous sizes up Snake with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Pendous scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Pendous thows a left - swing and a miss! Snake ducks under a wild hook from Pendous. Snake looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pendous is fending him off so far but Snake persists. Nope, Pendous circles away and we're back to standing. A little feinted left hand from Pendous on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Stu Pendous has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vtnom Snake.

Snake throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pendous. Pendous is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Pendous cracks Snake with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Snake misses with a takedown attempt - Pendous sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Pendous throwing a counter right hand but Snake manages to avoid it. Pendous scores with a crisp jab that stopped Snake in his tracks. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Snake takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Pendous is looking to get back to is feet but Snake passes into side control.
Pendous tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Snake wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Pendous is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Vtnom Snake has got the better of the ground game so far. Pendous manages to work his way to half guard, despite Snake's best efforts. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pendous won't allow Snake to pass to mount. Pendous looks like he's trying to stand up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Snake passes to side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pendous is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Snake asserts his dominance and retains side control. Pendous trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Snake in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Snake stands up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Snake ducks under a wild hook from Pendous. Snake gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Pendous cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Snake misses with a takedown attempt - Pendous sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. It looked like Pendous wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Snake takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Snake moves out of range as Pendous strikes. Snake is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snake shoots in and drives through. Pendous sprawls well. Stu Pendous has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vtnom Snake. Pendous tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Snake uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pendous.
Pendous avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pendous appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Stu Pendous is winning the standup battle so far. Pendous lands with a right hand. Excellent takedown into side control there by Snake. Pendous wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snake tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Snake has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Pendous wants to get back to his feet. Vtnom Snake has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stu Pendous is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Stu Pendous. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pendous, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
