Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Abbott (ranked 3189 p4p, 4331 weight class) and Jimmy Jackson (ranked 361 p4p, 443 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dave Abbott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Jackson! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Chad Campbell and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Jackson throws the kick towards the body but Abbott avoids it. Abbott clinches with his opponent.
Abbott definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Abbott slowing the pace effectively. Abbott throws a head punch that misses. Abbott's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A clash of legs there as Abbott blocks the low kick. Abbott avoids the body shot from Jackson.
Jackson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Abbott ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Abbott no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson is looking to stand up but Abbott won't let him. Abbott pulls Jackson in close to prevent any damage. Jackson tries to stand but Abbott is controlling from the bottom. Abbott looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Abbott lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

It looks like Jimmy Jackson has been cut. Jackson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Abbott controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Jimmy Jackson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
