Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Freaky George!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones wants to clinch
and George counters with a stiff right hand.
Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jones throws an overhand right that lands on George's shoulder, as George tries to avoid the shot.
Drake Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones throws out a leg kick but George moves out of range and Jones only half commits.
George looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Jones drives through with a takedown into George's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
George preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
George looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Jones puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Jones seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but George does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Some bone on bone action there as George checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Freaky George is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and George scores with a counter punch that sends Jones to the canvas! George smells blood - he's punishing Jones with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Jones has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
