Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Callum Walsh (ranked 4427 p4p, 4609 weight class) and Malik The Little King Chai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Malik The Little King Chai!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Walsh drops back, looking for a kneebar! Chai looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Chai looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Chai!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

You can see the frustration on Walsh's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Walsh isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Chai stacks Walsh on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Chai!
You can see the frustration on Walsh's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Walsh is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Chai is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Chai is looking to take a break and control but Walsh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Walsh had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chai defends it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Chai has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Chai is staying tight to Walsh's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Malik The Little King Chai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Chai connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Walsh shoots for a double leg takedown but Chai sprawls well. He's pushed Walsh's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Callum Walsh. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Malik The Little King Chai seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Chai connects with a superb combination that knocks Walsh out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Chai before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Walsh!
