Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Callum Walsh (ranked 4427 p4p, 4609 weight class) and Malik The Little King Chai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Callum Walsh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Malik The Little King Chai! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chai gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Chai working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Walsh. Walsh in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Walsh throws a big elbow that misses. Walsh postures up.
Walsh drops back, looking for a kneebar! Chai looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Chai looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Chai!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Walsh struggling a bit here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walsh is trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walsh trying to control but Chai flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! You can see the frustration on Walsh's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Walsh breaks Chai's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Walsh has gone for a leg lock! Chai slips out almost immediately though and dives into Walsh's guard. Walsh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Walsh looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Walsh is refusing to be controlled, as Chai sits in half guard. Walsh wants to control but Chai is keeping busy and won't allow it. Chai is pressing down on Walsh's thigh, looking to free his foot. Walsh is holding on for now. Walsh looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Walsh works his way to full guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Walsh isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Chai stacks Walsh on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Chai! You can see the frustration on Walsh's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Walsh is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Chai is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chai is looking to take a break and control but Walsh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Chai works Walsh's body with a nice hook. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Malik The Little King Chai dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Walsh tries for a takedown but Chai circles away easily and Chai counters with a nice uppercut. Walsh gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Chai connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Walsh shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Walsh thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. That's one minute gone in the round. Walsh thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chai's head. Walsh missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Walsh throws a strike but Chai avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Walsh throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chai works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Chai utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Walsh drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Chai manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Walsh has Chai in his guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. Chai wants to pass the guard but Walsh is keeping the position. Walsh on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Walsh tries to get out of the position. Walsh had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chai defends it easily. Walsh looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Chai working away. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Walsh is looking to regain half guard here but Chai keeps moving and retains side control. Chai has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Chai is staying tight to Walsh's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Walsh misses with a takedown and Chai counters with a series of strikes. Walsh will be more careful next time no doubt. Walsh looks for a takedown but Chai sprawls well. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Malik The Little King Chai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! A shot to the liver by Chai. Beautiful body shot. No luck with that takedown attempt from Walsh. Walsh has his takedown stuffed and Chai connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Chai connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Walsh shoots for a double leg takedown but Chai sprawls well. He's pushed Walsh's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Callum Walsh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chai throws out a powerful jab.
Walsh is rocked! Malik The Little King Chai seems to be getting the better of the standup. Chai connects with a superb combination that knocks Walsh out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Chai before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Walsh!
