Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gold uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cross.
Kai Gold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gold lands a jab.
It looks like Dave Cross has been cut.

Cross gets tackled into the cage by Gold. Gold maintains the clinch.
Gold throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Cross blocks it with crossed arms.

Gold digs a right hand underneath Cross's ribcage. Cross let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Gold is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Gold is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Cross is staying active underneath Gold, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Gold is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That has opened up Dave Cross's cut even more.

Gold lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Cross quite badly. Cross pulls Gold in close trying to recover. Gold postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Cross on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Cross doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kai Gold!
Kai Gold bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
