Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zambosurian Inday (ranked 24012 p4p, 6384 weight class) and Mmm Mmm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mmm Mmm told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 47 - 36 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zambosurian Inday! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 66 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mmm Mmm! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Inday is defended easily by Mmm. Mmm steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Mmm dives in and grabs Inday's left leg, looking for a takedown. Inday pushes down on Mmm's head and hops out. Inday appears to be looking for a big counter. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mmm misses with a takedown attempt - Inday sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mmm shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Inday but Inday pushes him off and we're back to square one. Inday thinks about countering with a body kick. Zambosurian Inday has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mmm Mmm. Inday decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Mmm is trying to get back to full guard. Mmm wants to control but Inday is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mmm is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Inday is staying active. Mmm keeping control of the position. Inday content to control rather than advance. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mmm feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Inday controlling Mmm's posture. Mmm trying to control but Inday is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mmm content to stall in guard here. Inday keeping moving, preventing Mmm from controlling successfully. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mmm not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Zambosurian Inday dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Mmm fails with the takedown. Inday appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Mmm misses with a takedown attempt - Inday sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Inday misses with a takedown and Mmm counters with a nice body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mmm shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Inday is trying to defend but Mmm finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Inday controlling the position for now. Mmm is keen to just control but Inday is a slippery customer. Mmm content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Mmm's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mmm is looking to take a break and control but Inday is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mmm is figuring out what he wants to do next. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mmm leaves Inday with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Mmm now looks to counter with a shot at the body. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mmm is defended easily by Inday. Zambosurian Inday has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mmm Mmm.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Inday fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mmm sprawls well initially but Inday persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Mmm has his hands clasped together around Inday's back. He's all about the action. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Inday is taking a breather. Mmm says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Mmm Mmm will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round! Mmm misses with a takedown attempt - Inday sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. It appears Inday was looking to counter with a kick there. Inday closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mmm is trying to control Inday's posture but Inday avoids it. Mmm is trying to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mmm being controlled for a moment. Mmm can't do much from the bottom here. Inday controlling the position from side mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Inday blocks the strikes from Mmm.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Mmm is trying to control Inday's posture but Inday avoids it.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Inday fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mmm sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Nice takedown defense from Inday. No joy for Mmm on that attempt. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Inday shoots in looking for a takedown. Mmm tries to sprawl out of it but Inday keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mmm manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mmm shapes to counter with a head kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Zambosurian Inday showed his dominance in that final round. Well Inday has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
