The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houssein wants to clinch.
Trachtenhaus throws a looping overhand right but Houssein ducks down to avoid it.
Trachtenhaus throws a low kick but it's checked well by Houssein .
Houssein moves to clinch but Trachtenhaus breaks away
and Trachtenhaus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Trachtenhaus dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Trachtenhaus misses with a head kick.
Houssein with a poor takedown
and Trachtenhaus counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Houssein darts in trying to clinch
enabling Trachtenhaus to counter with a crisp jab.

Trachtenhaus scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Houssein misses with a takedown attempt - Trachtenhaus sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Trachtenhaus connects with a nice looking jab.
Daniel Trachtenhaus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Houssein has his takedown stuffed
and Trachtenhaus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Houssein is rocked!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yahya Houssein . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Trachtenhaus tries a head kick but it misses.
