Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damar Sulekov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bon Gamin!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sulekov closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Sulekov clinches.

Sulekov breaks from the clinch.
Gamin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Sulekov is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Gamin.
Sulekov has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Roosters Coop in the buildup to the fight.

Sulekov rushes Gamin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Sulekov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sulekov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Gamin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sulekov controlling from the top position.

Sulekov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sulekov wants to pass the guard but Gamin is keeping the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sulekov works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Gamin won't allow Sulekov to pass to mount.
Gamin is in trouble now - Sulekov has advanced to mount!
Sulekov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sulekov lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Sulekov raining down shots from the mount!
Gamin wants to control but Sulekov is having none of it.
Sulekov controlling his opponent.
Gamin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Sulekov sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Gamin is in all sorts of trouble here.
Sulekov controlling the pace for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Sulekov prevents Gamin from getting the reversal.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Damar Sulekov dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Sulekov closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gamin quickly recovers to half guard.
Gamin tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Sulekov manages to move to mount!

Gamin is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gamin wants to hold on but Sulekov pushes him away.
Gamin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sulekov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gamin defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Sulekov.

Sulekov lands a heavy elbow.

Gamin tries to improve his position but Sulekov has taken his back! Sulekov has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Gamin tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Sulekov pushes Gamin away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Damar Sulekov!
A very excited looking Damar Sulekov made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
