Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marco Vera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eric Winston!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vera looks to throw the jab but Winston is out of range.
Winston tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Winston lands the left hand.
Vera keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Vera moves into the clinch.
Vera escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vera stuns Winston with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Winston looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Winston moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vera. Winston does a little dance to reset his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vera tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Winston manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Vera throws a jab but it's blocked by Winston.
Winston scores with a nice strike.
A lazy body kick from Winston
enabling Vera to counter with a crisp jab.
Marco Vera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vera stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Winston keeps the fight on the outside.
Vera paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Vera misses with a body shot.
Winston takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Winston is rocked!
Vera throws a pinpoint strike between Winston's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Winston crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Vera scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Marco Vera!
