This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 15 losses; Anthony Lavicci!

The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Halo wants to control but Lavicci is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Halo is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lavicci is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Lavicci working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Lavicci has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Halo's body.
