The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortega tries a head kick but it misses.
Thompson is breathing heavily.
Ortega tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Thompson tries to counter with a takedown but Ortega is quick to defend against it.
Oooooh!!! Ortega has knocked Thompson down with a huge combo! Ortega steps away and waves a wobbly Thompson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Thompson is rocked!
It looks like Brian Thompson has been cut.
Ortega throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Thompson.
Oh Thompson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thompson tries to clinch but Ortega moves out of range.
Thompson is aggressively charging in as Ortega backs up avoiding any damage. Ortega tosses out a jab and Thompson runs right into it face first! Thompson is out cold! Ortega dropped down on all fours and is barking in Thompson's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
