Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kanud Odimabesser (ranked 1344 p4p, 1319 weight class) and Darryl Haze (ranked 175 p4p, 169 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kanud Odimabesser!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Darryl Haze !
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haze circles away from the clinch attempt.
Haze moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
A nice inside leg kick there by Odimabesser. That's going to slow Haze down.
Haze looks to land a body kick but Odimabesser moved away.
Odimabesser tries to close the distance and clinch up but Haze swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Haze throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Haze avoids a kick to the body.
A countering left hand to the body from Haze misses.
The fighters circling - Haze throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Haze throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Odimabesser wants to clinch
and Haze counters with a thumping low kick.
Odimabesser fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Haze .
Odimabesser throws the left hand but Haze avoids the punch easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Haze ! But no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Odimabesser wants to clinch up but Haze keeps it at a distance.
Haze tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Odimabesser forces Haze back against the cage and clinches.
Odimabesser breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Haze tries to keep at a distance but Odimabesser has taken the fight into the clinch.
Haze prevents a body shot from Odimabesser.

Odimabesser's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Odimabesser gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Haze counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Odimabesser is not content to let Haze control the position.
Haze not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Haze wants to take a breather but Odimabesser is having none of it.
Odimabesser wants to get back to his feet.
Haze seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Odimabesser looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Haze wants to pass to mount but Odimabesser is defending the position.

Haze slows the pace down in half guard.
Odimabesser is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Haze pulls his head out easily.
Odimabesser slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Haze must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Odimabesser tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Haze with a nice head shot there.
Haze is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Odimabesser looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Odimabesser is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Haze is controlling him.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Haze accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Haze is in close to Odimabesser's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Haze trying to control the position from guard on top but Odimabesser is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Haze controls from within his opponent's guard.
Haze wants to control from the top but Odimabesser keeps moving.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Haze tries to free his leg and advance position but Odimabesser is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Odimabesser is looking to cinch up a triangle. Haze throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Odimabesser's body to avoid the submission. Odimabesser has instead reached around Haze 's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Odimabesser arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Kanud Odimabesser!
A very excited looking Kanud Odimabesser made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
