Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 17 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sirus Hughes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luke Muller !
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Dmitry Maklakov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muller misses with a double jab
and Hughes counters with a nice body shot.
Muller lands a jab-cross combination.
Hughes moves into range and clinches up with Muller .
Muller working aggressively here.
Muller missing with knees to the body.
Muller has had enough of the clinch but Hughes keeps him there for the moment.
Muller tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Muller pushes off an throws an elbow but Hughes leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Hughes keeps control of Muller as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Muller is trying to force a seperation but Hughes has the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Muller can't find room to land a body shot as Hughes controls the action.
Hughes manages to break the clinch.
Muller takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Muller swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hughes counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Muller looks winded!
Muller throws a combination that misses
and Hughes counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hughes throws an overhand right that has Muller reeling! Hughes follows up with more punches and Muller is out cold! This one is all over!
