Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hector Lion (ranked 3717 p4p, 5699 weight class) and Sanggtiennnoiii Sitsunpeong (ranked 450 p4p, 564 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hector Lion ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sanggtiennnoiii Sitsunpeong! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lion is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sitsunpeong sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sitsunpeong avoids a kick to the body.
Sitsunpeong takes the fight into the clinch. Lion pulls guard successfully.
Sitsunpeong is looking to stand up but Lion won't let him. Sitsunpeong won't allow Lion to sweep him here. Lion manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sitsunpeong manages to get himself to full guard.
Sitsunpeong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lion . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sitsunpeong is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lion is controlling him. Lion stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sitsunpeong swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lion works a leg free and moves into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lion seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sitsunpeong does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lion is working for a submission of some sort.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lion is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Sitsunpeong wants to improve his position but Lion is controlling well.
Lion tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sitsunpeong knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sitsunpeong can do anything to dispel that myth. Lion is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sitsunpeong is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Lion has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Sitsunpeong defend it? Lion steps over the head and cranks it - Sitsunpeong is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Lion !
