The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nino has closed the distance and engaged Ardelean in a clinch.

Harman Ardelean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nino takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Ardelean lands a nice hook to Nino's body. Nino takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Nino closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ardelean circles away.

Ardelean gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
