Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 35 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clifford Val Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Micah Hawk!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hawk quickly recovers to half guard.
Hawk wants to get back to full guard.
Hawk looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Hawk is doing well to control the position and prevent Salvacion from advancing to side control.
Hawk has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Salvacion. Oh but Hawk has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Salvacion goes limp - he's gone! Hawk jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
