PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Renati Arbani (ranked 5453 p4p, 5801 weight class) and Sav Jobb (ranked 484 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Renati Arbani!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sav Jobb!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arbani doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jobb counters with a three punch combo that has Arbani backing up. Arbani nods at Jobb to acknowledge the strikes.
Arbani doesn't manage to clinch there - Jobb circles away.
Jobb closes the distance and clinches up with Arbani, looking for a takedown. Jobb pushes Arbani against the cage but Arbani circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Arbani looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Jobb tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Arbani defends well and Jobb ends up having to push Arbani into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Arbani changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jobb tries to avoid it but Arbani manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jobb to the ground. Jobb escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jobb throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Arbani's waist but Arbani gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jobb off to one side.

Well Jobb has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
