The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schloegelmeier misses with an uppercut.
Schloegelmeier tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Graffagnino was well out of range. Poor timing from Schloegelmeier.

Graffagnino shoots in but Schloegelmeier avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Graffagnino shoots in looking for a takedown. Schloegelmeier tries to sprawl out of it but Graffagnino keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Schloegelmeier manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Graffagnino walks into a straight right hand from Schloegelmeier.

It looks like Benito Graff Graffagnino has been cut.
Westbrook Schloegelmeier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schloegelmeier jabs Graffagnino to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Graffagnino looks winded!
Schloegelmeier lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Graffagnino up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Schloegelmeier from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Graffagnino's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

After the fight, Westbrook Schloegelmeier was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
