Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Max Gunn (ranked 4158 p4p, 5847 weight class) and Nick Bullard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Max Gunn has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Max Gunn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nick Bullard! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gunn slips under a jab. A little feinted left hand from Gunn on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Bullard rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gunn counters with a stiff right hand. Bullard takes the fight into the clinch. Bullard throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Bullard stalling against the cage.
Gunn blocks an elbow strike from Bullard.
A left hand lands to the body for Bullard.
Gunn wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bullard is trying to pull guard but Gunn has him pressed against the cage. Bullard looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Bullard lands with a light punch inside. Gunn tries to break free but Bullard pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gunn avoids the elbow strike from Bullard, against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bullard. Gunn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bullard lands a body punch in the clinch. Gunn working hard to break the clinch. Bullard swings wildly with an uppercut but Gunn uses good head movement to avoid it. Gunn takes a shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunn tries to circle away but Bullard has him pinned against the cage. Bullard stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Bullard lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Gunn blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bullard lands a nice uppercut. Bullard lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Bullard decides to pull guard. Gunn will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bullard wants to sweep but no luck. Bullard pulls Gunn in to control the position. Bullard looking for a sweep. Not yet Bullard, not yet. Gunn is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Bullard has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Gunn is looking to defend but Bullard has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Gunn! Bullard pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Gunn taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Nick Bullard!
