Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 24777 p4p, 24722 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 26 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 23 - 21 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Buktot dives in and grabs Buut's left leg, looking for a takedown. Buut pushes down on Buktot's head and hops out. Buktot bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Buktot in side control, throwing shots but Buut defends. Buktot staying calm. Buktot seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Buut for as long as he can get away with.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot wants to control but Buut is keeping him busy. Buktot controlling the position from side mount. Buut struggling a bit here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Buut gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Buut controlling Buktot's posture. Buut wants to sweep but no luck. Buut pulls Buktot in close to prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Buktot working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Buut's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Buut has Buktot pulled in close to control his posture.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Buut looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Buktot! Buktot can't do much from the bottom here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut taking a breather here. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dawindi Buktot dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Buut feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Buktot looking to sweep here. No luck so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Buktot holds on and takes a little breather.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot continues to stall. Buut stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Buktot swivels though and keeps the full guard. Buktot is pulling down on Buut's head to control his posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Buktot scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Buut tries to get back to half guard but can't. Buktot is staying tight to Buut's torso, preventing him from escaping. Buktot has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Buut is looking for a sweep. Buut holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Buut tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Buktot misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. And Buut responds with a good body kick, but Buktot manages to step out the way in time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Buut shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Buktot's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut trying to control the position from guard on top but Buktot is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dawindi Buktot overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Buktot looking for a sweep. Not yet Buktot, not yet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Walay Buut will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Horrible takedown attempt by Buut or perhaps it was just good defense by Buktot, which made it look bad. Buut just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromBuktot. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Buut. Buktot feinted there with a counter leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut is trying hard to land a takedown here. Buktot sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Dawindi Buktot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walay Buut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot slaps away a takedown attempt from Buut, before circling back to the center of the mat. And Buktot counters with a quick kick to the body but Buut blocks it. Buktot tries for a takedown but Buut sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Buut is trying hard to land a takedown here. Buktot sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. A quick step to the side and Buktot tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Buktot fails with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Buktot lands a nice looking kick to the body. Buut takes a step back to recover. Buut fails with the takedown.
