Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eli Pope (ranked 3525 p4p, 24786 weight class) and Yawa Kiang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Eli Pope has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Eli Pope seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eli Pope!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yawa Kiang!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pope cracks Kiang with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Kiang tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Pope pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Kiang is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eli Pope!
Our winner, Eli Pope, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
