Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jugo Fury (ranked 1537 p4p, 4007 weight class) and Matthew Griffin (ranked 244 p4p, 537 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fury might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pigface by Greyhoundz. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jugo Fury!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matthew Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Griffin. No joy for Fury on that attempt.
Fury goes for a double leg but Griffin avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Griffin continues to drive forward.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fury crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Griffin - the referee stops the clock and Fury gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Griffin. Fury manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Fury shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Griffin as he avoids it easily.

Griffin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fury.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Griffin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fury controls the pace.

Griffin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

We've been hearing that Fury has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Griffin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fury looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

As Griffin looks to move away, Fury throws a big counter combo but Griffin just gets out of the way.

Fury closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Griffin quickly recovers to half guard.

Fury perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Fury has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
