Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wakuso Shiseo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sanji Yokohama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wakuso Shiseo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wakuso Shiseo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sanji Yokohama! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yokohama gets a clinch. Shiseo wants to get back to striking at distance but Yokohama won't allow it.
Shiseo tries a body shot but Yokohama blocks it.
Yokohama can't break the clinch.
Yokohama tries to break the clinch but Shiseo is controlling the position. Yokohama goes for a takedown attempt but Shiseo pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Shiseo scores with a takedown into Yokohama's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shiseo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yokohama swivels though and keeps the full guard. Shiseo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Yokohama is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Yokohama is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Shiseo distracts Yokohama with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Shiseo trying to control the position from guard on top but Yokohama is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shiseo is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Yokohama is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Shiseo shoots in and bounces Yokohama off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Shiseo advances to half guard. Yokohama won't allow Shiseo to pass to mount. Shiseo works his way into side control. Shiseo is staying tight to Yokohama's torso, preventing him from escaping. Shiseo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yokohama keeps working. Shiseo tries to move into full mount but can't pass Yokohama's legs. Shiseo is trying to get an arm triangle but Yokohama is defending well. Shiseo is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yokohama wants to control but Shiseo postures up. Yokohama is pushing Shiseo's head away, looking to escape. Shiseo manages to hold on to the position though. Yokohama struggling a bit here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Yokohama gets caught flat footed, as Shiseo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Shiseo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yokohama looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Yokohama is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Yokohama thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shiseo pushing down on Yokohama's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Yokohama throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Shiseo tries to pass to full mount but Yokohama defends it. Shiseo is working hard here to advance position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Shiseo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Yokohama pinned against the cage. Yokohama gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Shiseo misses with a head kick.
Horrible takedown by Yokohama or perhaps it was just good defense by Shiseo which made him look bad. Yokohama looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Wakuso Shiseo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sanji Yokohama.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Yokohama wants to clinch. Shiseo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Shiseo showed some decent athleticism there. Shiseo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Yokohama is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Wakuso Shiseo!
