Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alexanda Riverriei (ranked 5441 p4p, 5700 weight class) and Yacine Amokrane (ranked 262 p4p, 270 weight class). Amokrane has chosen Fataat al khair as his entrance music. Alexanda Riverriei has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alexanda Riverriei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yacine Amokrane!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amokrane slaps away a takedown attempt from Riverriei, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Amokrane looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Amokrane tries to clinch there but Riverriei circles away.
Amokrane lands a really nice looking cross but Riverriei seems unphased.
Sloppy strikes from Amokrane. Those never looked like landing.
Riverriei tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Amokrane defends well and Riverriei ends up having to push Amokrane into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Riverriei could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

It looked like Riverriei was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Riverriei shoots in looking for a takedown. Amokrane tries to sprawl out of it but Riverriei keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Amokrane manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Riverriei takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Riverriei feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Amokrane has his feet on Riverriei's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Well Amokrane has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
