Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 55 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mariusz Pudzianowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juicy Gum!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pudzianowski throws a chopping leg kick but Gum manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Pudzianowski slaps away a takedown attempt from Gum, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Pudzianowski throws a low kick but Gum avoids it.
Pudzianowski throws a leg kick that is checked
and Gum counters by clinching up.
Pudzianowski effectively controlling the action here.
Gum's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gum shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pudzianowski misses with a low kick as Gum jumps back.
Gum dives in and scores a takedown into Pudzianowski's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pudzianowski wants to stand but Gum is controlling the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gum drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gum jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Gum tries to free his leg and advance position but Pudzianowski is retaining full guard.

Gum cracks Pudzianowski with a solid left hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gum makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Pudzianowski is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gum is controlling him.
Pudzianowski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gum on the ground.
Gum should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Gum in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Gum tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Pudzianowski is able to avoid easily.
Pudzianowski lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gum's sensitive parts.

Gum stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Pudzianowski.
Pudzianowski lands with a thumping leg kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pudzianowski lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gum has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gum and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Gum shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pudzianowski sprawls well. Pudzianowski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gum gets slowly back to his feet.
Mariusz Pudzianowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juicy Gum.
Pudzianowski shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Gum blocks a low kick nicely.
Gum's coach down at Desert Fitness & Training (14 Elite Coaches) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gum's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Pudzianowski throws a leg kick but Gum checks it.
Gum throws a push kick but Pudzianowski slaps the foot to one side.
Pudzianowski changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Pudzianowski lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Pudzianowski looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Pudzianowski dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gum. That did some damage!
Gum tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Gum gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Gum wants to get back to his feet but Pudzianowski passes into half guard.
Gum is trying to maintain the position but Pudzianowski is very close to passing his half guard.

Gum is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Gum is looking to advance position but Pudzianowski won't allow it.

Pudzianowski is trying to escape back to his feet but Gum uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Gum has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Pudzianowski is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Gum yanks on the arm and Pudzianowski is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Gum.

A less than humble Juicy Gum misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
