The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pepper slips under a jab from Romanov.
Pepper is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Romanov's half guard.
Romanov is looking to escape.
Romanov wants to stand back up but Pepper manages to pass into side control.

Pepper in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

That has opened up Yuri Romanov's cut even more.
Pepper is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Romanov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Pepper advances nicely into full mount.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pepper lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Romanov! Pepper sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Romanov and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
